Blanes of London produced high quality evening wear from the 1940s through the 1960s.

French was a gifted fashion photographer during the 1960s in London. French photographed some of the most glamorous and graceful models of the time, including Jean Shrimpton and Twiggy. His method of diffusing light onto his models was soon to become mainstream, not only in fashion photography, but on the film set also.
