July 1955. “…even your best friend won’t tell you!” As an apprentice, Elliot (b.1922) worked with some of the most well known pinup artists, Sundblom, Elvgren and Ballantyne to name but three. Elliot illustrated a number of artists sketchpads for Brown and Bigelow around 1950 and went on to create work for both the advertising industry and various national magazines.
