    Indiscretion (1882). Luis Alvarez Catala (Spanish, 1836-1901). Catala was primarily a painter of portraits in a romantic style. He served as director of the Museo Nacional del Prado between 1898 and 1901. “A lover without indiscretion is no lover at all.
