    Modern Screen. October 1953. Portrait of Marilyn Monroe by Trindl & Woodfield (likely only Gene Trindl). Original cover and magazine. Modern Screen (“Largest Guaranteed Circulation of Any Screen Magazine”) began publication in November of 1930. Each issue features a full color cover of a leading star of the day, plus lots of interior publicity stories about current stars and movies with many color and black and white images throughout.
