    Walt Disney reading Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland with Kathryn Beaumont, the voice and live-action reference model for Alice. Kathryn Beaumont was just ten years old when she was chosen for the voice of Alice, in Disney’s animated version of the classic children’s tale, Alice in Wonderland. Walt Disney was so impressed with Kathyrn’s long curly blonde hair, sparkling eyes and acting ability, that he chose her as the model for Alice. “If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is because everything would be what it isn’t. And contrary-wise; what it is it wouldn’t be, and what it wouldn’t be, it would. You see?” — Kathryn Beaumont as Alice.
